Since PGE2 is pro-inflammatory but also pro-hair...
Is it possible to apply too much PGE2 topically and in return, it leading to having no effect or even an opposite effect?
Any thoughts welcome.

PGE2 and PGD2 both at least partially regulate immune responses. Their role in regulating immune responses is different depending on which part of the body you are looking at and isn't well understood yet, thus the statement PGE2 is pro inflammatory isn't necessarily true when talking about hair.


The effects of PGE2 will be limited by the available of PGE2 receptors at the treatment area. If I recall correctly they are EP1 - EP4 receptors but it's been a while. There can also be downstream limitations as well.
