I knew this thread was going to turn into this direction.
We all in this forum know that if someone loses 30 hairs a day in the shower, he will scare like mad and come to complain and say how he hates hairloss. I have seen some people complaining about loseing 15-20 hairs a day... And most people who say "losing 100 hairs a day is normal" are the same people to scare like mad when they lose 50 hairs a day (non stop for months), and those guys will even consider losing 20 hairs a day like a shedding... So, come on, and be serious...
Let's be more specific so nobody can say "losing 100 hairs a day is normal".
Consider someone who starts treatment (Propecia and minoxidil) and shed 30-40 hairs a day in the first 3 months. After that, he stops shedding, and lose maybe 10 hairs a day in the shower, which he considers normal. He continues this way until month 5, when he starts shedding again, 50 hairs a day. after that he continues shedding and it will never stop. So, I ask again, is it possible to shed forever and still notice general improvement? Or should the "amount of hair we lose a day" reduce to notice an improvement?
