as far as your hair i am not sure, it does look thin but i am not an expert in your hair type (nappy if it is alright to say nappy?) so i am not sure how it looks under different lighting. normally nappy hair looks very thick and you can't really see the scalp but i think you have looser curls so it is not really "nappy". are your male relatives BALD?
the area i live in is 99% white so i am used to seeing straight and curly hair. myself my hair is (or was) as straight as a chinese mans hair
