is lower libido during male pattern baldness actually good or bad?

after reading some posts on the internet, it seems that higher libido means less testosterone being converted to DHT?Before the onset of hair loss in my early 20s i had a high sex drive , i took propecia after 4 year of onset of male pattern baldness . and stopped after a few months ( also did experience the side effects) . thereafter, during the last 15 years hair loss has been progressing slowly , together there was a typical moderate amount of sexual dysfunction, in erections ect. i still had some resonantly high libido but had problem maintaining erections...recently the last few years there was some improvement in erections and at the same time my hair thinning seems to be slightly more. could someone explain?

there is no correlation nor logic behind it.
first of all hair loss is not only about how much DHT you have it's also about how sensitive you are to it. you could have tons of dht but have small sensitivity and thus bald slowly.

second, testosterone is the main hormone in charge of men sexual health, higher testosterone will give you higher libido and better erections, unless you got another problem causing low libido etc, and the more testosterone you have the more DHT you're going to have, that's simple logic and science, any guy suffering from hairloss will have accelerated hair loss if they increase their testosterone, because the conversion to dht is a % of testosterone, if you got more testosterone than the converted ammount will be higher.

Nope, I still got a very high sex drive at 37.

However since my 20's when I been suffering with hairloss, my body hair has gone crazy all over.
Hairy neck, back, shoulders, legs, arms, chest, stomach.
I only shave what is visible above my top.
I would get that lasered,if I could afford that too..

I given up trimming/shaving my body hair which doesn't show as no one is seeing that...
As no one has wanted to date me in a long long long time...
I couldn't care less if I look like an otter as long as it doesn't show out my top...

Thanks for the explanation. So my theory is incorrect?

So taking supplements like flaxseed ( seems to increase libido in my case) in fact increases testosterone? So it's bad ?

I can't imagine my sex drive being any higher and it hasn't helped my hair.

natural supplements will most likely not increase your testosterone by significant amounts, significantly increasing your testosterone by natural means it's pure bullshit and doesn't happen. so I doubt you'll notice any difference, but lets say if you were on TRT, than your hair loss will most likely will be accelerated.

I am not on trt. But for last 6 months I had some pretty good hair feel taking flaxseed supplements and msm.
