Is my hair even salvageable at this point?

Hi. For the last year and 4 months, I have shaved my head bald, and obviously was not taking any treatment. I absolutely hated it, I looked at least 8 years older than I am. I decided to grow it out to see if I even had any left and I’ve been very disappointed. I don’t like being bald. My hair loss mainly stems from running hard Anabolic Steroids in the past. I have been put on TRT at 175 mg per week to put me in the “higher than normal range” for the last 3 weeks I’ve been on this regimen…
0.5 mg of Dutasteride ED
Nizoral shampoo ED
Minoxidil ED
RU58841 75-100 mg ED *not sure how effective this even is*
Do I still have a chance to save my hair and make it presentable? Or should I opt for a hair system? I don’t want to waste money on “treatments” that appear to not even work for people in my position. I’ve attached two photos; one with hair paste and one after a shower. Also, is this a NW3 vertex or a NW4?

100% salvageable

Most people on this forum would kill for this density
That makes me feel a little more at ease with my hair loss. I’m going to stick with my current regimen for at least 8 months to a year before I hop on the Hair system approach. UNLESS it gets much worse. Is there anything you would recommend I add or change to what my current prevention measures are?

If you really want regrowth, you could look into oral minoxidil but I would advise waiting to see if you get results with your current regimen.
As you said it yourself, waiting 1 year before adjusting is the right thing to do since you recently implemented a fair amount of powerful drugs in your regimen.

By the way, I am not advocating for dutasteride nor RU (nor oral minoxidil) as all these drugs come with (potentially severe) sides.

What do you recommend to maintain without using duta or RU?

I definitely appreciate it. So I’m assuming I’m a Norwood 3 possibly? I hear the shed phase can be bad on dutasteride. I’ve considered going finasteride instead; but I already have a 5-6 month supply of Dutasteride.

You haven't really "lost" much hair at all. You can see a lot of the roots are still alive, just miniaturized. Definitely salvageable. Though, I would probably opt for a slightly lower TRT dose. Maybe 125mg if that would be sufficient for you. Testosterone still has a high affinity for the androgen receptors.

Your ok… just start a regime… problem on this forum we have 1000’s of regimes.
It’s just the natural difference between man & women. IMO at this day in time, I feel the difference is on a woman’s head the hairs grow uniformly (elongate) from every sector of the head. In males it’s the same until puberty when androgens kick in. When they do the hairs start to (delongate). So whereas woman’s hairs are growing everywhere straight out seemingly for many feet.. Men’s hair gets (tamped down) growing slower & shorter) till we say “I’m thinning”. So we must elongate those struggling hairs. & areas of thinning. I’ve been so busy selling cars & such I haven’t had time for further research… But every week it’s almost the same thing. Young guys traumatized… what to do.. Older guys telling what they do or have done.. & bald guys cynical of the world.. All rightfully so.
in your case… You have a lot to work with. Lots of healthy hairs. Some area starting to thin, but don’t worry, You can thicken those areas.
