I've had oily skin basically since puberty, but over the past year some new things have started and I wanted to see if anyone had thoughts about them. I see a dermatologist soon, but I really wanted to see if the community had any input or observations-
My main problems are-
1. Excessively oily skin, mainly on my face, and hair that gets super oily within hours of washing it.
2. Constant bad cystic Acne (or what appears to be acne) in the center of my chest where my hair is, and on my back, especially the shoulder area. Also have some around the back of my neck at the hairline.
3. The big one- fairly rapid diffuse hair loss on my head and some painless red bumps/patches on my scalp that never seem to go away. Strangely, my scalp doesn't really itch except when it's oily, and even then it's not too bad. I also never really notice hairs falling out, though I do see tons of tiny, thin, shorter hairs in-between the normal ones.
4. A very rough, red patch on my elbow that never seems to go away or get less rough, even with moisturizing.
I feel like at least some of these may be linked, but I can't piece it together. Do any of you have experience/knowledge with these?
