Is permanent shock loss a thing?

I want to get a FUE, but I'm a diffuse Thinner. I would basically just be adding some density to areas where I can see my scalp.

There is sparse thinning hair in these areas, so I'm worried about permanent shock loss offsetting any gains. Is this a valid concern?

Well FUE/Hair transplants don't have a 100% success rate, so of course there is a chance of permanent shock los..... no matter how small that chance is haha

Some Docs say that permanent shock loss isn't an issue, but others say it is. I cant seem to get a straight answer on it.
