Is rogaine 5% worth to use ?

Hi guys, Im almost 40ys old and my hair getting less density probably 15 ys ago right now i can see my scalp easly but still there is some hair .

at the front and sides much more thining hair than at the top and back

my question is rogaine 5% good for me at the mid and long run without using tablets of propecia or whatever

are u guys getting some benifit from rogaine and how much is it ?

If you decide to use Rogaine, use minoxidil 5 percent, preferably Kirkland brand. I am using for a year come this July, and I am 38 going on 39. I have noticed a pretty decent increase. I didn't get all my hair back, but a lot of the front has filled in. You have to be patient. I do use other supplements but probably the minoxidil is the primary reason for the hair.

and within how much time did u start to see result?

I mostly used Rogaine.

It took about 4 months before I noticed any change in the density of my hair.

I'm now at about 7 or so months, and am experiencing great regrowth. I'm also taking other medications, though, for male-pattern baldness.

Minoxidil works even better with Propecia.

Well, it's kind of hard to say.

I'm sorry, but regrowth is kind of difficult to judge.

I have more hair volume-- yes, and I'm still getting regrowth, don't get me wrong.

But the hair shafts themselves are still quite thin...

Minoxidil works some on the hairline, but it's not the kind of THICK hair you had when you were 18...

It's cosmetically acceptable-- but it's not that great.

I'm sorry I cannot provide a better and more conclusive response... but judging progress is just very difficult to do...

I'm at about a Norwood 2, and it seems I'm maintaing my hair.

I like it. I buy the generic 5% at wal mart and it works.

In 7 or so months I look a year or so less bald. If that makes any sense. I will post pics soon.

finasteride, rogaine, and nizoral. I use them!

I use nizoral and rogaine 5% that i bought from cheaprogaine.com
a 3 month supply for about 60 USD which is pretty good since im in Toronto, Canada and its 60 bucks for a one month supply.

im on my second month but and like everyone has said i guess u have to be patient. so give it a shot and check out that site that i listed above.
