Is Rogaine causing me NOT to regrow?

I have been on Propecia for 5 months and Rogaine foam for 5 months.

(stupid me I didn't take any pictures!)

But I have a feeling that whereever I apply rogaine to it inhibits regrowth. I use to apply all over my head as I noticed my entire head was thinning. Then it got to be so much of a hassle, I just applied it directly to the crown straight from the bottom and then massaging it around on that little area.

Now 5 months later it seems like I am having regrowth every except my crown. The hair on top is definitely thicker...just wish I could get the crown to start filling in.

Should I stop Rogaine and let propecia to do its work? It would also be a huge bonus not having to apply it 2x a day.

I feel that way too. Id say perhaps either wait a full year, or start using rogaine only once a day, see if things improve or get worse.

At least u wont be going cold turkey and perhaps loosing what you have gained (if anything).

Yeah, I very much doubt regaine is stopping anything from growing. give it another 5 months I reckon.

im about 7 months into the foam after liquid for 14 months previous to that and its kicking in now,its definitely thickening things up,patience,paaatience

make sure you are using foam. I had the same problem with my crown (of course, I was on liquid for 3 years) until I used foam, which is working like gangbusters.

Also, five months , you're probably shedding.

the first year is hell. Just hang in there another six months. After a year, it seems to steady out (the process) and just slow regrowth from there.

14 months on liquid minoxidil and no result at all?
What a waste.

Then 7 months on Rogaine foam...then saw results?
How long actually you saw the improvement?
How fast did the shedding starts and stops?
