So it's been 5 years since I last posted here. When I was 16 I used to be scared to death of going bald and trust me, if my hairline was that high at that age, I'd be 100% bald by the time I was 20. After a while I took a look at a bunch of my childhood pics and saw that my hairline was already pretty receded since I was 13 (looked like it was exactly like that), maybe even as a kid. I don't know what to think. I believe there has been recession since 16, just don't know how much, like the degree which I should worry. I've already gotten minoxidil, been using it for 2 weeks, and am currently waiting for the dermaroller I bought from the internet to arrive. I also intend to get finasteride soon, just need to do a bunch of blood and sperm tests :/. Do you guys think this is heavy receading or just slightly in comparison to back then. And do you think finasteride + dermaroller + minoxidil might do the trick for me?
Posting pics of when I was 13 and of now because when I was 13 there was almost no difference to 16... by the way sorry for the bad quality, always had long hair so these were the only ones with my hair somehow pulled back that I found.
This is so that you guys can see I never had a normal hairline and it's always been fairly receded. Now my pics of nowadays...
One thing that I'm sure though is that baldness runs in my family and it starts pretty soon. It's not strong though, it's only recession of hairlines, no thinning on top, but unfortunately there is always a point in which it doesn't matter anymore if you let your hair grow and that it looks bad either way, for them it was around 40.
But what do you guys think, is the difference significant?
