Is Diane 35 the same as other Cyproterone Acetate pills? On Diane 35 listing there is ethinyl estradiol written down as an active ingredient with the Cyproterone which I don't think has any use as hairless medication unless I'm mistaken.

What Cyproterone Acetate pills are recommended and at what dosage is the drug effective?

diane contains 2mg of cyproterone.

an actuall pill of Cypro contains 50mg.
cyproterone has much use as a hairloss medicine because it blocks the androgen receptor and reduces testosterone production. basically, its a chemical castration drug. transwomen also take it typically in doses of 25mg-100mg.

Diane 35 is a very effective drug, but only women and strange guys like me can use it.

So other Cyproterone Acetate pills should be better for hairloss. What dosage is recommended, 50mg or a 100?

are you thinking about trying it? its very powerful at lowering T. it will also stop your sperm production. 100mg is generally considered a high dose. I used 50mg a day for awhile.

Thank you for replying. I am considering taking Cyproterone Acetate or Oral spironolactone, I'm not sure which is the stronger anti-androgen tho.

cypro is stronger.
also cypro has some build up effect, it has a 38 hour half life and some of it will get stored in your fat as well.
the negatives of cypro is that its hard on the liver. also it increases prolactin so you might want to get your prolactin monitored.

the negatives of spironolactone is that its hard on the kidneys. also will make you pee more often, and retain pottassium more. so you need to be careful to not eat too much pottassium on it.

From what Ive read online the range of testosterone synthesis they inhibit is very similar, is the therapeutic effect very different? I'm leaning more towards Oral Spironolactone as it gets mentioned more but seeing your results it seems Cypro is very effective too.

similiar but you need to take a higher dose of spironolactone to get the same amount of T suppression.
but you are young so you probably would get good regrowth with oral spironolactone. I chose the strongest stuff cause my temples were dead for years. I didnt even give finasteride a chance, went right to dutasteride.

I'll give dutasteride, finasteride, oral and topical minoxidil and oral spir a shot for now, thank you for the advice, I'll keep cypro in mind. Estradiol also seems very interesting too, Ill also keep that into consideration. 2 antiandrogens is overkill. In my case, cyproterone at dose 12.5 mg was enough to drop libido and stop spermatogenesis. I am taking spironolactone because it's very cheap and I have zero side effects from it.

I am planning to drop cypro and use only finasteride, spironolactone and 1-2 Diane pill ed.

Will keep all androgens in low female ranges. They are super toxic to my body and mental health.

Hi guys

Could someone advise on my hairloss? I'm female and have PCOS and clear high androgens. I used minoxidil 4% + medroxyprogesterone for 13 years with fantastic results.

I have recently had a hormone shift in the last year and thr minoxidil has become ineffective. I am also experiencing greasy skin and acne on face and body. I somehow managed to escape the skin issues despite having pcos since 16 yrs old.

Ive been to see an endo and we think its best to go on an anti androgen. what are your recommendations? Which AA would be most suitable for hormonal hairloss/Androgenetic Alopecia?

He has so far suggested an estrogen based BCP and cyproterone acetate or spironolactone.

Is it worth upping the minoxidil strength to 5%??
