Hard to say, I to have a sweet tooth, but I know my dad does not. I noticed my dad losing his hair in his 40's not before, but I only noticed it starting to rapidly progress on him after he had some heart issues requiring bypass surgery, he was never fat or obese in his life. Maybe it's just stress that triggers it in some people earlier than others, man I dunno. Hair loss is so dumb, maybe God just created it to keep people in check and have a laugh at some of us from time to time. It can't be sex or masturbation related otherwise Gene Simmons would be a cue ball.ali777 said:A few of us are going to reply that we consume lots of sugar and then one of us is going to jump into the conclusion that hair loss is related to sugar consumption.
I'll start. I have a sweet tooth and I love anything with sugar in it.
My biology knowledge is a bit rusty, but isn't excess sugar converted into fat and stored in the body? There might be a correlation with limiting blood circulation to the hair follicles, etc.
True, but who the hell can give up M & M's? :laugh:barcafan said:Pretty sure high sugar intake is a cause of insulin resistence, which is horrible for your body as a whole.

On his show he said he does not wear a wig, wow if that's true...just wow!ghg said:You don't need to have a "sweet tooth" to get lots of sugar. Carbs are everywhere, bread, pasta, wheat, flour, rice, potato, low-fat yoghurt etc. Excess carbs will cause an insulin spike and prevent your body from burning fat and the fat gets stored.

Gene Simmons is a known wig-wearer.
