Is there a relation betwen finasteride and getting drunk faster?

Well i have read that finasteride and liver work together, could it be a connection with getting drunk faster or getting wasted?

There have been studies that finasteride can help curb alcohol consumption in men https://www.nhs.uk/news/medication/baldness-drug-finasteride-cuts-mens-drinking/
Not the best study in the world but it shows that finasteride and alcohol may interact in some way.

I have not felt that alcohol makes me more drunk or vice versa on finasteride. I did however notice that when I drink on finasteride I start felling weird sensations before even getting buzzed I also had a bit more negative side effects from drinking when on finasteride.

I also have noticed that like in the study I posted I drank less on finasteride and currently don't drink much at all. But Im also on suboxone which helps with my drug cravings tremendously so that may be in play too.

Yes and dutasteride also. This guy reported he needs less alcohol to get drunk.
