Is There A Way To Recover From Hyper Androgen Sensitivity?

I have been using 6ml of RU daily for 9 months. The sheds remain huge and the thinning has accelerated. I stopped for 5 days and it got worse.

I am going to bite the bullet and start topical Finasteride but I’m concerned I have triggered increased sensitivity. Acne has increased and there is thinning at the nape. Also rapid thinning of existing long hairs along with a rapidly thinning forelock.

Any ideas on reversing this process? Will adding Finasteride make things worse?

Shed like this everyday with or without a wash crown is very thin but diffusing everywhere. Still have coverage and trying to hang on to it.

I'll admit that does look like a lot of shedding, but if you have been shedding this much for about 9 months and you still have basically a full head of hair that suggests your hair is regrowing just as fast as your hair is falling out. You're 41 and have better hair than a lot of people in their 20s and 30s. I don't think you will ever be completely bald, unless you live into your 80s. Stick with your treatments, that is not hyper androgen sensitivity.

Dude for real I hope your topical finasteride goes full systemic overload and your dick falls off. I hope the moment you slather that sh*t on your nw1 all your hairs parachute off your skull and smash the bathroom floor. You have better hair than everyone your age. And better hair than most of us here that are half your age. Smh extremely hard

Stop deluding yourself. You don't have aggressive or as you say rapid thinning. As @AnxiousAndy said, you are shedding alot( most likely because your weak hairs of all lengths are being replaced by stronger hairs). I can tell you from experience, you are not balding aggressively like you keep saying. You won't admit you have BDD, yet this behavior of you posting countless photos of what most experts would consider a full head of hair with slight loss of density due to being middle aged is classic OCD/BDD. You have better hair than 98 percent of the forum and have no recession at all.

I have always admitted I have BDD and I can tell you if I had hair like yours, I wouldn't even be on this forum. You have better hair than I ever had and I can tell you I have better hair than most guys on here who are over 30. Lately, we have some people like @alekgn who are hair gods with great density. I never had density like him. You have better density than me too. Not only that but you have no gray hair. Your genetics are top tier. My advice is to stop posting your hair photos and just take your meds and update in 6 months. I am willing to bet your hair will look the same if not better and prove that you are delusional that you have aggressive loss. @LosingHairIsNotFair is a great example of aggressive loss. I remember him from a few years ago and his level of hair loss would be considered aggressive.

I wouldn't call myself a hair god, but thanks for the compliment, lol. That could change any time. Hopefully not, but hair loss genetics are a mixed bag in my family. Roughly half the men in my family go to a NW2ish hairline, and then experience senile thinning. Another half go to about NW3-4 by their 40s-50s. Don't know of any NW7s or anyone who experienced super aggressive hair loss. My uncle, who's 42, went from a NW3 to a NW4 in 10 years, without finasteride. That's not super aggressive imo. Yeah, the OP appears to have some age-related thinning. That's kind of what my NW2 55-year old father's hair looks like when it's wet and kind of long.

Aggressive hair loss would have left you horseshoe bald by 42. Stop annoying us, you are not part of the balding/bald community.
