Is There Any Benefit Behind Testing Dht Levels Before Taking Finasteride?

I am going to start finasteride next month

I want to test testosterone,estradiol and DHT prior to getting the drug. Maintaining my estradiol level normal will ensure I don't get gynecomastia.

What about DHT? It is very expensive and not sure if it is worth it to get my dht before and after checked .. is there any benefit behind testing DHT?

Some people say that there is some benefit to it as you will know whether treatment is effective or not plus you'll have baseline values to compare with later so maybe you should....
