Is There Any Improvement On Hairline?

Hi there,

i’ve been experiencing hairloss for over 2 years now. I have attached my photos from 1 year ago vs now. I’ve been using minoxidil 5% and finasteride 1mg during this time and maybe its paranoia, but i cant really tell if i’m going in the right path. The after pic is when i’m out of the shower and the hair is dried up but it is not as good as it might look. Please let me know if it’s working and any new measures that i can take to help stop hairloss?

First 7 are pics right now and the next 6 pics are from one year ago. It might look like an improvement but i feel it’s not that much so please provide any input

Definite improvement. You are not going to get the recession back, but the density is a lot better. Looks pretty solid. Give it another year.

Thanks for the reply! Are the small hair on the hairline sides growing new hair or is it receding? Something i cant tell. There are tiny hair follicles in the hairline which idk is growing or receeding

Don't know for sure, but they look like damaged hairs. Also known as miniaturizing. They might come back a bit better over time, but once they are about 50%+ damaged, they usually won't. Best case scenario typically is maybe getting a bit better, or just staying as damaged hairs in general.
