Is there any way to prevent sexual side effects from finasteride? I read somewhere that guys can take arimidex to prevent sexual problems?

That's right, but it can also give you sexual problems. You should not use an aromatase inhibitor if you don't need it.

Enden, but my doctor says that if i get sides, they might go away in a few weeks or months and I shouldn't give up on finasteride till then?

I know. The leaflet says the same. I did that, and I ended up with secondary hypogonadism within 4 months. Not saying that this is going to happen to everyone, but I wouldn't dare holding out for anything else than small changes in libido, if I knew the risk.

Like I've said before, don't sleep on the NON-sexual sides man. I wish sexual sides were my only problem.

I'm warning you man. I took this crap for two freaking weeks and my body has gone haywire since I quit 10 weeks ago. Now I'm racking up big medical bills and I'm in constant agony and wanting to off myself. I realize there aren't a lot of cases like me, but don't take the chance!!!

Your health is the most important thing in this life... don't compromise it for the sake of a few strands of hair(which you'll lose in a few years regardless of whether finasteride is effective).

Considering there are things which can kill you once they hit your blood stream, how isn't that possible? Finasteride is very potent. I noticed negative changes in the sexual department within the first week.

Well sure some poison's can kill you instantly, but don't you think alot of it can be attributed to mental blockage ? Like if you stress too hard about something and focus on it all the time you will overemphasize the smallest of problems, even if they may be 100 percent natural.

Some, sure, but if you stop responding to whatever used to turn you on, and don't have morning erections any more - the problem is physical.
