Is there such a thing as low/no shine Pomade?

Long story short: I got invited to a 'period costume' party during Spring Break and I was going to try and dress like this.

Is there such a thing as low/no shine pomade or product for slicked back hairstyles or am I up the creek?

Fibre putty always gives a matte finish.

Very sticky stuff though - prepare to see hair on your hands afterwards :-O
