I've provided three photos of the top of my head ranging from super wet, kinda dry to dry. The fourth is the hair I lost in the shower, it's hard to see because of my wall pattern but I counted 33.

For context I'm 15 going on 16 and noticed hairloss since I was 13~14. Mom recently shared photos to a derm and concluded it was because of dandruff and I just gotta wash properly.

I have noticed differences in my hair diameter, some strands are thinner than others. And in the right light, my scalp shines off it (Is this dead follicles?)

I might be paranoid but I have been for like three years now, mostly cus I dont wanna be bald at 20.
Appreciate any help.

We need info about your life style and diet, also family history of hairloss to be able to proceed with a diagnosis. Hairloss is a complex problem. Its not always just a DHT problem. But it possibly could be in your case. How is your hairline?

Hairline is intact. My dad's balding but it started in his late 40s. Lifestyle is improving, used to have bad sleep schedule and diet just normal stuff, sometimes fast food, sometimes vegetables. If it is DHT related, (if I understand correctly) I won't be able to do anything about it until I'm 18, right?

Yes you must wait until puberty is completed. At least when it comes to finasteride.
