Is this a whorl or hair loss? I am a bit worried

Hello everyone,

I am 33 years old and of asian decent.

I would like to ask if this is a normal hair whorl or hairloss.

I am really worried since my Dad's side has Male pattern baldness. But my mom's side has no MPT history.

Looks like a whorl. Rest of the hair seems thick. Anecdotally, a lot of Asians report having an especially prominent hair whorl. Probably due to a combination of a very pale complexion and very dark, straight hair. Keep an eye out for the hair around the whorl growing thinner, that starts to be an indication of male pattern baldness.
