Hi everyone, I stepped out of the shower this morning and saw in the mirror behind me, a bit of my scalp. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a vertical strip free of hair (seen in pictures).There are times I see it, and times I do not. So it's incredibly frustrating.
I was wondering if people could weigh in and offer an explanation as to what I'm seeing.
Some important notes: I am 21 years old. My father is not bald and retains all the hair at the back of his head. He only has a receding hairline (been doing so slowly since his 30's, and still now in his 50's) and with regards to my mother's father, I do don't know. Never met the man. Only saw a photo of him from the 60's to which he appeared to have a normal head of hair.
Please let me know what you guys think; I am terrified.
