19 year old white male. My family shows 0 evidence of genetic male patter baldness, my dad is 50 with a head full of hair. My scalp is visible on the front part, I am not losing any hair. I wanted to know if this is low hair density, and if it is, how can I fix it. Thanks

Not sure... Was your hair wet or greasy in those pictures? I'd appreciate some less zoomed pictures to see your overall frontal and top density.

In some it was wet, in some it was dry. Sorry I will try to get better pics, what’s the difference tho? Thanks anyways for the reply

Wet or greasy hair can sometimes look like diffuse thinning in pictures. I'd need some better pictures with dry combed and uncombed hair to comment properly, some under harsh lighting conditions would be good too.

The back and sides of my hair that are "DHT Resistant" have the same density as this and I had that density before I started balding so it could be your natural density, any balding on your mothers side?

No, not at all. But my hair never used to be like this, I had very spiky and thick hair, I noticed change when I was 16. I am pretty sure this isn’t natural density.

Those two pictures aren't enough for me, it could be the zoom or the way you styled your hair, or it could be diffuse thinning in a female pattern. That's why I was asking for more, less zoomed pictures with both combed and uncombed hair, and some under harsh lighting conditions if possible.

Usually male pattern baldness starts at the hairline and the vertex. It kinda looks like the female pattern balding and believe it or not this pattern can happen to guys too.

Father has hair at 50 so that's good. I assume with 0 evidence you are including no balding in mom's father, father's father, uncles, siblings, cousins, etc so those are also good signs. The tricky thing about balding though is that it can skip a generation or two. Did you check great grandfathers or granduncles? I've seen posts about men going bald with both grandfathers and their dad / uncles not having balding.
