Hi! I am new on this forum, glad to meet you all!
I didn't cut my hair for 6 months, and now it is like 7 inches long on the top, and 5-6 inches on the sides. I have a curly, more like wavy hair texture, I'm a male and I'm 18 years old.
Since the fifth month of hair growth i started to notice that my hair is shedding a lot, only when i'm taking a shower. When i comb my fingers on the wet hair i see a big amount of hair, something i didn't notice before, when my sides were short.
I took a photo with all the hair i could gather after the shower.
Is it normal?
By the way, i wash my hair every four days, and i notice more hair fall when i use conditioner than when i'm not. Also, my hair stays pretty thick, i still don't see any difference, or at least not a big difference, maybe i can't observe it.
Sorry for my english too, I'm not a native.

For not washing your hair for 4 days that looks like a normal amount. You are noticing more hair shedding because your hair is longer.

I think you can lose up to like 100 strands and it be normal. The less you wash, the more shed there will be when you do.
