Is this normal?

Hi there. I've been on minoxidil and nizoral for about 3-4 months and finasteride for 2 months (1/5 of 5mg proscar everyday) . I noticed good thickening and darkening of my hair. I had a big shed 2 weeks after my first minoxidil application. However, I can still notice a lot of hair falling out (especially after having a bath). I lost a lot of hair from my hairline. Is this normal? I think that I should be seeing some positive regrowth after the 4 month mark but I can't notice any small hairs growing back. Do you think that the hair that has already fallen out is going to grow back at all?

You can experience shedding with minoxidil for up to 6 months. Hair growth is a process that requires patience and consistency. Keep your minoxidil treatment for at least a year. You may want to also think about adding a ketoconazole shampoo to your regimen.
