Is this normal?

Let me start by saying that I am NOT SURE if I am losing hair or not...

Recently I noticed a half-circular area on my hair line where the hair is sparser than other areas. the half circle is about an inch wide and goes approx 1/2 inch into my scalp.

The weird thing about it is that it is approximately three quarters of the way between my widows peak and the point where the "side" hairs meet the "top" hairs (or the temples). It is not at the temples at all. The temples are actually perfect 90 degree angle without sparesness. Honestly, I may have always had this but never noticed (its very hard to notice). However, I am worried about it, but I don't think this is a normal way of losing hair, is it?

Is it possible that I just have a sparser area of hair in that small region? Also worth noting is that I don't have the same thing on the other side of my widow's peak.. On that side, everything is even...
