Is this shedding?

I started proscar over a year ago. I take it inot fifths. Recently I stopped taking it for 2 weeks. It has been months since and it looks like my hairline went back dramatically. This can't be from a couple weeks can it?
It looks like some of the hair around the hairline is thick but there are fewer than a couple months ago.
Also I have continued to take the finasteride for a couple months. I use nizoral and minoxidil sometimes. But I have stopped minoxidil due to side effects (facial hair).

2 weeks shouldn't do much harm

but what's wrong with facial hair?

you may just be experiencing synchronization of the growing cycle

it is best however to not "take a break" from finasteride

the frontal hairline and temples are really hard to keep if your genes are programed to get rid of them

maybe your genes are just stronger than the finasteride
