Is this shedding?

Hey guys, just wanted to confirm whether my current situation is "shedding"

Every few months or so, I have like a 2-3 week period (estimating) where my hair comes out more easily (running hands through hair, shampooing, combing, etc.)

Then it goes back to normal (1-5 strands while shampooing. couple on the comb, etc.)

Shedding or not?
