Is topical finasteride working for me?

Hi I’ve been using essengen-6 for about 5 months now this is a topical finasteride solution in conjunction with once weekly micro needling my hair has gotten worse but I’m not sure if it’s a shed or if it’s actually getting worse, right now my hairline looks worse than it did baseline but I feel a lot of stubble like hair in the temples so I don’t know if this is new hair growth or existing hair that just miniaturized anybody who has used the same product I would definitely like to see if it worked for them and how it affected them thanks pictures will show baseline vs now it looks worse and I’m worried, I was quoted 1600 grafts to fix the temples but don’t want to do anything until I try to regain as much back but when I see it getting worse even with dermal rolling, nizoral and topical finasteride I don’t know whether it’s working or not

This is a hat I mean ifyou zoom in you can see a lot of little hairs but I’m not sure whether this is new regrowth that’s about to happen or worsening any thoughts on this?
