Hi all,

While I am not a finsateride user (nor dutasteride), I have been contemplating whether I should give it a try or not for some time now. I've spent many hours/days reading about its benefits and risks on multiple forums, platforms and various articles and opinions. I still haven't decided. One thing that I've noticed is that, among other side effects, the sexual ones seem to be pretty common and almost always when someone posts something about their worries or sides someone will jump in and blame the psychological aspect of it.

For those who worry for the loss of morning wood and random boners, who have issues with achieving and maintaining an erection in order to sexually perform, I think you should definitely look for professional help (a doctor!).

In the meantime these are my word of advice for you:

It seems like there is a very simple test you can take yourself at home to see if you have night time boners. You might have night time boners and not be aware of that. I think it is an important thing to clarify because it seems that if a man has difficulty achieving an erection when awake but becomes erect when he sleeps, it is an indication that there is a psychological issue, rather than a physical one.

If you'd like to self-administer this test here's a YT link:

Good luck!
