...while going through a shedding phase? I've been using finasteride for three weeks now, with nizoral 2% every few days. Any advice from those who have experienced this would be great. Thanks

It's likely the nizoral drying out your scalp....use a nice hydrating conditioner after nizoral... like tea tree oil.

Thanks for the reply. However, is it possible that the shedding would have been a result of the nizoral use or the three weeks on finasteride (reduced to 0.5mg 6 days ago)?...It seems coincidental to me to begin shedding , more than usual, after experiencing the itchy scalp. Thanks

well it's possible of course but more than likely you're paying far too close of attention to your hair than normal.
