Hi new here, I am almost 22 years old and I am wondering what would you classify this as? I have long hair that goes all the way down to my eyebrows if not combed, but my vertex seems to have some skin showing, is this cause for concern and what should I do to fix this? HELP

I don't see any hairloss.

Keep an eye on it, though. If you notice your hair starting to thin, consider starting a regimen.

Looks completely normal. Lots of guys who aren't balding at all have more scalp showing through than you do.

You're fine, stop worrying and go enjoy life. Just keep an eye on it. Take pics every 3 months or so.

OK PHEW. I was worrying like crazy... But to be safe is there any shampoo or any type of thing that I can use to prevent it in the future?

Nizoral shampoo would be a good choice. I don't even think you'd need the 2%, which is the one you have to order online or have a prescription for. The 1% is available in any store, and should help by giving your hair a little anti-androgen support.

That's what Nizoral is for... dandruff, but it acts as an anti-androgen, so it's good for hair.

My guess is that it was always like that, and you never noticed until now. Take a look at almost any other guy your age, and they'll have the same thing.

Because there is a swirl at the vertex where hair spread pointing outwards in every direction thus some scalp may be visible.
