Itching

Hi, I'm 19 years old and have been losing my hair for last few years. After finding this site I have got myself on the big 3. finasteride 1mg, rogaine foamx2 day, and Dr.lee's regrowth shampoo (2% nizoral, 3% salicylic acid)every 3rd day. I am also using American crew revive shampoo on my off nizoral days, this contains copper peptides. I take a liquid multi vitamin, saw palmetto, MSM 4000mg, and Fish oil 2000mg. Now to my problem, After 2 months on finasteride and nizoral and 2 weeks on rogaine foam, I have developed a itch on most of my body. My legs, chest, and arms seem to get it the worst. The weird thing is I hear a lot of people complaining about itching on the scalp but I don't get it there at all. Also I don't have any signs of rash or irritation.

Could I be having a allergic reaction to something? anyone have experience with this? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

Definately the itching isn't normal, go see your doctor. It may or may not have something to do with the meds.

Those are almost the exact same symptoms that I had from minoxidil. Itching everywhere, basically.

I was very perplexed to say the least.

I am finally trying minoxidil again and for the past couple of weeks there is no itching and almost zero itching even at the site of application. This is possibly due to my radical all meat diet. I suspect that I had allergies associated with sugar, startches or wheat.

hmmm thanks for the response wookster. I think your right, my itching started a week after my rogaine use. I'm already on the foam twice the day and was thinking of switching to the liquid once a day as I hate the way the foam makes my hair look in the morning. But then again people have reported more itch from the liquid. idk what to do :(. The itching is very annoying. I am already seeing results from my regimen after a very short period it would suck to have to quit now.
