I've become a beanie prisoner

Been wearing it for nearly a year. Stopped going out and playing basketball because of my hairloss. Dudes would always try to rip my beanie off in jest so now I can't return there. Family is getting suspicious now. They just don't want to confront me because they know this disease plagues me. Is this the meaning of life?

male pattern baldness in my teens ruined my life. And it continues to do so today. I have no incentive to find a job, socialise or even leave the house. I might as well just kill myself honestly.

Hey I don't want to give false hope (as treatments don't work for all) but you're very young and when you start Propecia you might have good results. Have you tried minoxidil? Why wait 19? I know the body grows until 21, but maybe a doctor could help you out understand if it is ok for you.
try to react with what is available. Don't let the beanie be your only anti-androgen...

Throw it out while you can.

Come in terms with your decrease in aesthetics and follicular status.

I'm balding at 17 and I am approaching a nw2 and I can still manage to style my hair so that my hair loss isn't apparent. How bad is your hair loss that you have to warrant wearing a beanie everywhere?
