right here goes. im 22. loss started when i was about 20. had very thick hair like my dad. same colour..same waves..everything..nvr thot id have problems. first notice dloss when i didnt have the same denstiy when i was gelling my hair. thot i was imagining it but then i started to notcie hair in the shower and on my hands when i was gelling my hair. panic like hell. go to the net and buy procerin...snake oil...was new to this so i bought the first thing i seen. then i went to docs....she sed this...'you have good hair like your father..the slight bit of loss at your temples is prob due to your thyorid blip ( i had an out of range thyroid for 2months which later went back to normal)...left docs feeling better that a 'pro' sed im ok. few days later when loss continued thot to myself...right dont delude urself...the Doctor dont kno sh*t. she a female...cnt see the loss...etc etc. most docs dont kno much bout hair. battled on wiht my mind to keep focused on staying clam and not stressing bout it but it was hard.
im 22 now. two years of thinnning and i still have decent head of hair but still thinner than i was. still to this day no1 has commented on my hair. but i kno my dirty lil secret lol. i can have my hair luk great normally but realli theres thinning. just not evident yet after two years but its getting there. when wet its crap and the wind can wreck my hair badly too. my hair tho has thinned a bit on sides and back aswell which is weird. so...where im at...after two yrs of reading on places like this im thinking of starting finasteride and minoxidil. im thinking if i start now i cud get back to a full nw1 and maintain..ppl say its best to start early and not sit in denial till ur a nw6 and its too late for meds! gun post pics now
