"Many companies, however, are taking advantage of the regulatory paths to avoid rigorous testing of their therapies and get them on the market fast. Scientists say that people who use them are probably not getting effective treatments. Most of the therapies approved for serious illnesses are supported by scant evidence, and there have been at least four reports of adverse events, including one death. Even government researchers and academic scientists who support the regulations say that changes are necessary."

As I've said all along, Japanese medicine is full of quackery.

That is why as always its important to look into the published research that have been done.

But just because something have completed 3 clinical phases, then it isn't a guarantee for a success treatment.

There are pro and cons to the traditionally clinical treatments and the Japanese express lane to market release.

What are your thoughts on Tsuji? Not as promising as we hope?

I was super hopeful about Choi (yes, he's Korean, not Japanese), but that dropped off the map. People were so sure that was the cure. Way more so than the majority of treatments that come and go. Guys who worked in bio labs were saying it all made sense. I'm skeptical since then.
