Hi. I'm 22 years old and first noticed some temple recession around 10 months ago. My temples haven't changed a great deal however I have quite a lot of diffuse thinning on the top of my head, mainly the mid-anterior scalp and vertex.
I noticed the thinning around 6-7 months ago and it seemed to rapidly get worse over a period of 2-3 months going from good density to looking really thin and wispy quite suddenly.
I have been using minoxidil for around 8 months somewhat inconsistently however in the last 3 months have been applying fairly consistently all over at night and just on the vertex in the morning. I also started propecia and RU58841 around 3 months ago. I started propecia at 0.5mg, then went up to 0.75mg and now 1mg - no major problems with side effects.
Upon seriously commencing treatments I buzzed my hair down to a number 1 and have kept it like that until now, I currently have not cut it for nearly 3 weeks. I am thinking about growing it back out but am unsure how it will look, what do you guys think, I have attached some pictures so you can see how it looks now.
These pictures are under quite bright light.

These are under moderate light and coverage looks ok.
