Started Propecia 1 week ago taking .25 mg every three days. I will post pictures soon. I am a Norwood 1.5. (temple recession)

Things i noticed since starting propecia:

No morning wood
No erection at random times throughout the day like before i started.
Semen is VERY "runny"
takes longer to ejaculate (still works well)

I have not noticed any Testicle/Nipple Pain. No tiredness, Brain fog.

Doesnt seem like my libido has dropped because i am seeing myself checking out more girls and wanting to "spank it" MORE. but as far as erections being a bit weak at times and no boners AT ALL in the day thats it.

I will give it 1-2 more weeks and if im not back to normal i think i will not continue. so far I DO see this messing with my sex organs definetely. And i am not being paraniod either.

I believe my low libido is gone. I got a boner during the day today! Semen still "runny" not so much though. will keep u guys updated.

So you're getting really mild sides and yet you STILL want to quit? Man, show some balls or lose the hair.

how common is getting Gyno from finasteride?

i have increased acne though now....hmm and hopefully i dont diffuse in my front which is great like ive been hearing stories about

The increased acne could also be triggered by the warmer weather. Also, I noticed in high school when my acne was pretty bad that when I changed my diet, I would get an acne breakout. This happened even if the change in diet was a healthy change. I'm not saying it's not the finasteride. Even if it is the finasteride, your body may just need time to adapt to the change, but you probably already knew that.

My libido is up and i dont see any troubles with my errections at all.

My jizz is more runny though.

why does the jizz do that? and is that potentionally damaging? how long have u been on?

its because of its effect on the prostate and also sperm production. Your count lowers with this medication IE making your jizz runnier. Once your body adjusts to the meds it thickens up some.

there isnt any chance that this could cause impotence at a later date? on a normal person...lol seriously i see all the normal people on here with mild sides i.e. runny semen, acne and stuff. I also see the people with sides that are on meds like anti depressents and stuff. I just wouldnt mind the runny semen. if thats all that happened to me! did yours thicken up?

ok wow. so here it is. today after a week and a half of propecia. today my libido is fine. but it took me forever to jizz today. i was 'there' but i just couldnt! that was so god damn weird...after a LONG TIME i was finally able to. and my semen was like water!!!!!!!! someone give me some reassurance this will GO AWAY!!!!

this was like nothing i have ever experienced. :cry:

give it 3weeks to a month. if the sides haven't gotten better by then consider your option. Nothing longterm happens in that time and you can quit if needbe.

There is an initial shed. look at my results from dutasteride.
Shedding is normal and something you have to grunt through.

These data are from the PROSCAR trials. Remember, Proscar is targeted at men over 50 who have BPH. Are you surprised they can't get it up?
