I've been thinking about the "limits" and "resources" that we have against male pattern baldness and have come to a conclussion
If you are going to be NW6-7 very young, you're fucked, yep
But, if you have any other "standard" Balding pattern (let's say Norwood 3 at 30yo) and you don't want to be a "slap head" You better get a HAIR TRANSPLANT AND STOP WORRYING
Take your meds, stop it the best way you can but also get your HAIRLINE transplanted at least to a MATURE and Conservative one.
Joe Biden is a Norwood 6 with literally just 2k-2.5k??? Grafts implanted to give hime the FACE FRAME. His Crown is bald but still looks way better than a fully bald at his age. The face frame is all
So if you're lets say 25-30 and get a NW1.5-2 hairline and when you're 40 even on meds you need another transplant behind it, at least you will live you youth with a full head of hair and if when you get old you run out of grafts for the crown, you can just go biden stile or also add some coverage to crown with beard grafts!!
Who knows, maybe in 20 years you still mantain all your hair behind the transplant because of the new treatments 
but if nothing new comes, at least use your 5-6k donor grafts + 1-2k beard grafts and if your crown looks thin, who the f*** cares
If you are Nw7, as your laterals are also going down you have no fix...
