I never saw the appeal anyways, but his looks have definitely decreased with age. He seems to have put on weight and he's been looking bloated and slimy for a little while now. I think women only find him attractive because "It's Johnny Depp!"

I always found him very fun and intelligent. However, IF he really beat his wife, I hope he goes to jail, whatever the reason he thinks he had for beating her.

Having said that, I am afraid that at 52 it gets really difficult not to look "bloated" if you have that kind of disposition while aging. Age, like baldness, can wreck your looks in personal, unimaginable, ways...

He's still way above average for his age, but his jaw has become less defined, his hair has thinned and receded, he's probably had hair transplant work done too and/or uses cosmetics, and of course he has lines and wrinkles, though far less than the average 52 year old. He's doing well for his age and has always been well above the curve in looks and hair, but even he isn't immune to aging.
