Hey Guys. Glad I found this community, already I've seen alot of good info and uplifting support. Ok. - Been thinning for probably about 2 years, and haven't really acted much on it. Took some palmetto supplements for a month or two way back, used rogaine not nearly enough, just didn't see the desired effect. Of course, I didn't stick with any of it so I shouldn't have expected any results. I'm 25, have a small amount of thinning at the crown, and most up towards the hairline. Probably around a NW2/3. It's starting to get pretty bad(for me, at least) As of now, I have dyed black hair and use toppik, and it enables me to maintain a decent looking head, but I would like to get myself on a good regimen to try and counter the loss, or at the very least, maintain what I have. What do you guys suggest for a first timer? Any and all help is appreciated!

Hey man,
welcome. The Big 3 is probably the best suggestion you're going to get, from anyone. My dermatologist recommended it to me.

It consists of:
Propecia
Rogaine
Nizoral shampoo.

You will get thickening and maintenance for a while.

Thanks for the quick response. Is that moreso for maintenance or a combination of the two? I also noticed your regimen seems to have quite a bit more happening in it than just the big 3. :) Just personal preference? or have you noticed marked inprovement from the big 3 to your current group? There is just so much information and differences in opinion here claiming so many different things, it's a bit intimidating at first.

The Big 3 allows for some regrowth, but it's mostly maintenance.

I know my regimen is a bit of overkill, but it's mostly for the most optimal results I can achieve at this time in history. So far it's working.

You have to do a lot of research, but when it comes down to it, Propecia is probably the best, single treatment that's proven for hairloss. Hands down.
