Hey all

I was using xandrox 15 plus for over a month.

half way through the first month i THOUGHT i was having lowered libido. Wasn't entirely sure and figured it was possibly in my head. What i mean by this was rare morning erections etc. and in general feeling less horny.

Well i came off it 2 days ago due to the fact i DEFINITLY had lowered libido. Never got morning erections and before i took xandrox +, i could just think about sex and get fully hard but on xandrox plus, no chance.

Well i've been off it and i can safely say i'm back to normal. I had normal morning wood this morning so...

But yeah sorry for the crude topic but just saying. Topical finasteride can have MILD sides. But ANY sexual side at all is a no go for me. not worth it xD I want to be 100% not 80% lol

TBH though i'm more worried about continual use of finasteride. liek what if it got worse and 9 months down the line i'm wishing i came off it sooner. Going to switch to the non plus version.

Topical finasteride can have exactly the same side-effects of oral finasteride. If the compound's getting in your bloodstream, it doesn't matter how it's absorbed.

out of curiosity boondock, what do you do instead of using finasteride to counter DHT destroying folicles?

Not a lot. The other major DHT blocker, dutasteride, is a lot more risky than finasteride. The herbal version, saw palmetto, is simply too weak for most people.

Some folks claim they have success with laser therapy, and there are some other topical DHT blockers (nizoral is one) which can have some effect, but that's really about all there is right now. If you want to go and look into the minutae of alternative and herbal treatments you'll find a lot of people promoting many more things, but I've yet to see photographic evidence of success from any of these.
