Well I dont know what to say. I continue to thin fast. I know I haven't given finasteride it's full chance yet but every hair I lose, thins completely over the length of the hair.

It's been 3 solid months on minoxidil and folligen my scalp continues to slightly itch and thin in my baldest areas. Go figure. I hate how my baldest areas itch the most because it seems like it's a constant reminder that i'm losing it all.

Anyway, I'm weary about spending more money but I'm going to dive into spironolactone or Fluridil after this month and try that for another 3.

Ah well. You'll see what's up at month 6 when I post pics. Things are not looking up.

I think Fina is the big daddy of Dht inbitiors. I think if Fina doesn't work spironolactone definately won't. I could be wrong though try it. Just think Fina is top of the food chain when it comes to DHT reduciton.

Early days yet. For scalp irritation perhaps you should try T/Sal shampoo, it's great for making ones scalp feel cool & fresh. You need to try your treatments for more than 3 months, you know that! If you try spironolactone, you need to try it for atleast 6. Using a bit of everything for a short time is a bad idea imo. But you do need to fix your scalp irritation problem. Try t/sal if your not already using it.

Dude, you really need to do a lot more research. For starters spironolactone is an anti-androgen, which means it inhibits other androgens other than dht. Dht is not the only androgen which causes male pattern baldness, thus spironolactone may, in this way, be more useful to some people than finasteride. Secondly, fina is not the "daddy" of dht inhibition dutasteride is.
