Have been wondering the same thing. Anyone have any recommendations for gray hair cover up? Is Just For Men too harsh to use on an already fragile and male pattern baldness ridden head? Thanks

I used bleach/peroxide highlights for several years and wonder whether it has been a contributory factor to my hair problem, which is why I'd be interested in JFM instead and hope it's not one of the 'gingering' ones.....

I'm guessing nobody on here covers up grey then?

About 90% of people on here are under 25.
I dont think using hair dyes could be the cause of m.p.b. M.p.b happens below the scalp the actual hair above it is just dead protein/keratin.

Well, I am over 40 :)

Not a lot of gray, just slightly. I'd probably want to skip the extra step and use a concealer that would also color the hair. I mentioned in another post about something I found called EMERGE...it's a concealer and colorant in one.

Haven't purchased, but was thinking about giving it a shot...keep in mind, I have a good amount of hair - it's buzzed, but I have a patch on the back:

Sounds like you'd have to do the whole head with concealer though? Sounds a bit un-natural looking to cover a bit of grey?

That product is another Dermatch type thing isn't it?
It only offers 'Brown' or 'Black'. Bit hit and miss I'd say

I think it would blend...my hair color is black, so I am ok with that. Same with something like DermMatch...

My issue is less gray, more thinning. To the OP, I would think you'd want the concealer to hide the gray as well.

Yuh, it's sparse grey, but enough to p*ss me off... It's all over but a little, From a distance it's brown, close up it's got grey, if that makes sense? :dunno:

searching for "just for men" I found this post.
I see this question: "will just for men damage my hair in any way?" asked in so many posts and never answered.
doesn't anybody know ?

I do. The only thing worse than having hair loss is having grey or white hair. I use Just For Men Ash Color. I normally have brown hair but although we landed a man on the moon in the late 60s, no one has figured out how to make brown hair dye that doesn't look orange under lighting. The Ash color dyes show a tint of orange, but not as bad. It says to leave it in 5 minutes but leave it in 20-25 minutes. It gives me darker color and it lasts longer with less orange. The hair concealer companies alos do not produce enough different shades of colors so it can be harder to match.
