how do u think i should apply this stuff??? it comes in these 2ml viles where u have to break off the top and then u put this plastic dropper on top of the vile. u think i should just apply it to the area which is going to fall out next? or use it all over the top??

Personally i'd apply it to the affected area. I would imagine it's effects will spread anyhow, and not be completely local.

Lizzad, you started your spironolactone routine yet? I have and the stuff is not to bad. It has a slight skunky odor when applied over minoxidil but nothing I cant handle. I just let the minoxidil dry for like 30 mins. Wonder how long it will be before we see benefits, if we do infact see any?

Could you tell me the price you paid for this, and where you bought it from. Also where do you live, and how long did it take to ship?

Thanks.

I think my Fluridil should be here tommorow. Its recommended that you should use Fluridil last thing at night. If you put it on in the morning and then sweat a bit it will break down and you have to apply it a dry scalp.

yo!

i got this stuff from http://www.vitaminox.com . i guess its like a 4 month supply, which cost me about $216(108 for a 2 pack of eucapil). i ordered it on sept 27 and only got it oct 14. they said 1-2 weeks for delivery from the czech republic. i emailed them about the delay and said there was a hold up in sweeden or sumthin... but overall i'm happy.

Lizzad, I have been using the topical 2% spironolactone for about 6 days know and believe it or not the hair seems to be better. Alhough it is messy, it does not smell bad and dries in about 10 inutes and can be combed. I am excited about it. I use it at the temples and on the front part which was thinning.

I think it is the spironolactone but I have also been shedding for 6 weeks maybe that is finally coming to an end and I am back in the growth cycle. I like this stuff so far though.

fluridil/eucapil looks good.

But they don't mention anything about type 1 or type 2 alpha-reductase. So i guess like fina/pro it's only for type 2. Hence the good but limited results they show.

I've never taken Avodart, but i've read the sides can be significant. I think Propecia is a good, and it should work well for most, but for me, it lowered my libido & interest in women...seriously! This wasn't my imaginiation neither. I'd definately consider propecia is a future option, i'm just gonna see how i do without. I prefer a topical regimen, so we'll see.

Sounds good, spironolactone is definately worth trying, i have faith in it's usefulness! Very early days yet for you, but i'll be applying the spironolactone to the hairline/temples too. I'm gonna start very soon.

Lizzad how would you classify your sexual intereset and sex drive before you started Fina?

A. Average didn't think about sex much but occasionaly
B. Pretty horny all the time thought about sex regularly
C. A real hornball who couldnt keep his mind off it.

Thanks for your answers. I am a sex fiend and think I have a problem, I want screw chix 24 hours a day, anyplace, anytime, anywhere. I am hopeing Fina will squash some of that drive. I just want a normal sex drive not one like Rocco Z.

Lizzad, did you evr try lowering your dosage to 0.5mg or 0.25mg? And trying a much lower dosage for a few months? Ive had lowered libido on propecia since starting it in 1999 but its mantained my hair very well and the lowered libido has been bearable. It goes up and down (no pun intended) when i change my dosage, so i know its not in my head. Im not cawaazy. I think if it tried avodart my dick would fall off. :freaked2:

Maybe if you tried propecia again you could try a small dosage at 0.25mg as anything over 0.2mg has proven to be effective.
