Just ride the sides?

To cut a long story short, i've been on finasteride for a year now and I'm suffering low libido and finding it hard to get and hold an erection.

Has anyone ever had these sides and continued to take finasteride to see the sides disappear? Should i ride this bad patch out or will it only get worsse? I really don't wanna quit finasteride but my girl won't hang around much longer the rate i'm going!

I find it strange that sides would decide to show up after one year... has anyone else had this happen?

I read somewhere that the incidence and severity of finasteride side effects tend to decline with continued treatment in the vast majority of cases.

Yeah it has happened to others.
You could try a week long "holiday" to see what that does for you. It prob wont do too much damage up top and it takes a few days to a week before DHT levels begin to reach normal levels after finasteride use.

I've cut down and started taking my pill every 2nd day and i can feel a slight difference, morning wood is back baby! What does this mean tho? I want to get back to normal dosage as soon as possible.

I suffered from sides and like your topic says I just had to ride em out, 13+ months on the only trouble I have now is the libido thing which isn't too bad as it was far worse in the early months, if I am in for a f**k I pop a v**** to guarantee that I rise to the occasion and it does the trick

how is that possible? v**** doesn't raise your libido, libido is a physical thing but really a mental state. if you get horny rarely and can't get mentally turned on, then how does v**** help with that? how does pumping blood down there help? it doesn't create desire. if you have the desire but the equipment isn't working then yeah v**** can help

I ordered v**** as soon as i had the sides and tried it recently man it does wanders but I'm scared i will get reliant on the pill and not be able to function on my own? My libido has decreased a lot, i still want and desire sex but think about it a lot less. I get wood and then while i'm on the job it goes flacid. v**** sorts that out for me but i'm also keen on trying the natural remedies does anyone have any experience in this area, can you give me some advise on its effectivness?

I've been suffering for 2 yrs. Tried Horny Goat Weed from a compounding pharmacy, 300 mg per capsule, icariin extract standardized to 10%.

Took half a cap, definitely helped with the bloodflow down there and hardness, but made my heart race and gave me temporary ringing in my ears + muffling until the effect wore off 1.5 hrs later.

Since it operates the same as v**** (PDE-5 inhibitor), and since potential loss of hearing, often preceded by tinnitus (ear ringing) and sight has been associated with PDE-5 inhibitors (although these side effects are rare), this was concerning to me.

I tried it one more time at a quarter of a capsule dosage and the ringing came back, though not as bad. Either way, it was enough to put me off of continuing with it. You may not have these same issues or concerns, but after what I went through with Finasteride's so-called "rare & reversible" side effects, I'm not taking any chances.

Incorrect, it is a PDE-5 inhibitor just like v**** only it lasts much longer (24-36 hrs). There is a risk, however rare, with all of these drugs, although millions have taken them without issue.

Mew just take the pill. I can understand how you don't want to take propecia as one is taking the pill everyday. But popping a cialis or v**** now and again is fine.

This topic isn't even about me.

But to answer your question -- I was planning on using the pill daily, at night, to help stimulate nocturnal erections. I may try it again in the future, but for now am not.
