Just Started Finasteride 1mg For Reverse Hair Loss

Hi,
Im new to this forum. while searching results for finasteride I got to know about this amazing forum & success stories.

Im on PRP treatment now just 3 sessions till now and Im not seeing any visible effects. 4 months ago my dr. prescribed me the finasteride & multi vitamin & Im on multivitamin since then & decided not to take the finasteride due to said side effects. & Im also using Minioxidil since 8 months.

Looking at my attached picture do you think that I'll be able to reverse the hair loss I think Im on 3V Scale.
left side temple is almost gone but there are some baby hairs regrowing.

How much time do I have to be on Finasteride. ?

After a year you should either maintain or grow hair back. Finasteride is not guaranteed to grow hair back. But people do notice regrowth. Has Minoxidil grown any hair? You could look into adding a derma roller 1.5mm once/week. Also you can look into low dose oral Minoxidil 5mg<=/day. You can also look into more experimental things such as using Latisse after dermarolling to get some growth as well as topical caffeine either shampoo or making your own liquid by dissolving powdered caffeine into alcohol.

Has Minoxidil grown any hair? hvn't seen much of a difference. I forgot to mention that Im Hypothyroid patient with controlled TSH. I took 100 mcg of thyroxine daily. Im also taking Hair-Vit Multi Vitamin dailyy after breakfast.
