Just started finasteride two weeks ago - my impressions

Hey guys, I'm 19 and been receding on my hairline for over a year. Have not started finasteride since 2 week ago.

Currently i'm just using Finasteride and nizoral shampoo.
I started very low dosage: 0.5mg dose for a week.
The next 0.5 doses that I took are all 5 days apart (which means an effective 0.1mg per day).

For now, I'm experiencing no side effects at all. However I can feel the finasteride working. Not sure if this is a placebo effect but every time I shower and run my hand through my hair, only 0-2 hairs come out (usually 0). Whereas before there would be at least 5-6. Also when i'm just fiddling/scratching my hair, they don't fall out anymore! Before finasteride, there would be a huge collection of hair on my desk afterwards.

I think I will stay on this dosage (maybe increase it a bit), can't wait to see my progress in the next few months, hopefully regrowth !(fingers crossed)
I will definitely post pics in the future since nothing is visually noticeable right now.

It's smart to start at a low dosage at your age, so good call. However, I recommend that instead of skipping days, you take finasteride every day to get your DHT to a low, constant level. So, rather than doing 0.5 mg every 5 days, do 0.1 mg every day (if you can get the pill that small).
