just switched to Avodart... should I worry?

Been on finasteride for 3 years, and it did slow down my loss. But didn't stop it completely..

Just switched over to Avodart. How much should I worry about shedding? And when would that set in, if it's a "healthy" shed?

And can the body cope from the switch from finasteride, to dutasteride all of a sudden like that?

give yourself at least a week of overlap while it builds up in your system. dutasteride every day is probably strong enough you don't need an overlap, just just in case.

overlap? I don't take finasteride anymore, as I have run out? Is that a problem? How long for the dutasteride to kick in?

it might kick in in less than a week if you take one per day. Maybe even on the first day. Just take two on the first two days and you should be safe.
