just want to share something (5 months update /no pic)

so i have been taking the unthinkable (finasteride) for 5 months now, so far so good, no sides. the 8 weeks was rough was lots of shade but it cool down somewhat later on... 3 months mark i feel like the density is better but the pic didnt show any significant regrowth.

today, i went to the barer and the woman who used to wash my hair said to me "WTF with wrong with your hair, how come you have so many hair in here (point to my crown) now?" :freaked2:

seems like finasteride is really doing me good so far

Happy for you. Interesting that you thought there was no difference and the barber noticed a difference. Did she know you were on finasteride? I look in the mirror 20 times a day, never took pictures, and think there is no difference. I look and a faint thinning runway on my head and wonder if it was there before or not, which is tricky because I buzz my head to 1/4 or 1/5 inches randomly when I feel like it. Right now it is at 1/4 inch.

Why are so many people so afraid of finasteride? Just get on it, and if you get side effects, then that is when you should start worrying about whether to wait them out or not. Neither by brother nor I have side effects.

I just gave my head a good rub-a-dub-dub and 10 hairs fell out. I can see them on my shirt right now. Could it be the finasteride? Should I get off it?

I read somewhere on this forum, its best not to look at your hair (expecially for a longgg time) every day. Its best to do visual checks every week or month.
