Im 26 and have noticed some gradual thinning on the top for about 4 years, my hair line is still strong but the hair on the top is getting fairly thin. I tried rogain and decided it wasnt for me.

over the last year I have been using generic finasteride and nizoral...but even with the nizoral my scalp itches trmendously and I don't know if I continue. has anyone else had this experience? what can I do to stop the itching? would it possibly be a good idea to try dutasteride? I am in the early stages of this. any advice would be great.

I go through the same itchiness and have not really found much relief. I just have to wash my hair 2x a day when the itching is really bad. I am also wondering if the drugs are even helping when these suymptoms are clearly there before and after starting.
